High pressure flange

High-pressure flange: Flange for connection of pipeline or equipment with pressure higher than 10 MPa. At present, it mainly includes traditional high-pressure flange and high-pressure self-tightening flange.
Traditional high-pressure flange: It uses plastic deformation of sealing gasket (ellipse gasket, octagonal gasket, lens gasket, etc.) to achieve sealing effect. It is connected to the end of the pipe to make the pipe and tube connected with each other. There are holes in the flange, and the two flanges are tightly connected by double-ended bolts.
Traditionally, it consists of a pair of flanges, a gasket and several bolts and nuts. The sealing gasket is installed between the flanges of butt-welded steel pipe with neck on the sealing surface of two flanges. After tightening the nut, the specific pressure on the surface of the sealing gasket reaches a certain value, which causes the plastic deformation of the sealing gasket, so that the joint is tight and leakproof. This form can be used in flammable, explosive, toxic media and high pressure occasions, but the sealing reliability is poor.
High-pressure self-tightening flange, which was born in the 1950s, has been widely used in petroleum and petrochemical industry, oil and gas exploitation, industrial gas production, petroleum refining, food processing, chemical industry, environmental engineering, minerals and nuclear power, aerospace, shipbuilding industry, synthetic fuel processing, coal oxidation and liquefaction and other fields. In the Chinese market, such products rely entirely on imports. No one in China can design and produce them. Until 2005, this situation was broken by Chengdu Plant Source Machinery Technology. ZY-LOC high-pressure self-tightening flange was produced in China.
