Dish head

The dish-shaped head refers to the head consisting of three parts: a part of spherical shell, an arc edge prayer and a good edge (cylindrical short therapy). Because of the sudden change of curvature radius at the junction of spherical shell and hem, hem and straight edge, the edge stress is much larger than that of thin film caused by internal ash, and its mechanical properties are worse than those of spherical and elliptical heads.

Because of its shallowness and low requirement for stamping equipment and dies, the dish head is easy to manufacture. At present, it is seldom used in force vessel. It is only used in situations where pressure is low and head depth is required to be reduced or die is lacking.
